I am getting it as it is the hottest and cutest game of 2007.

Which console should i go for ?

Wii or DS?

There is only one thing that keeps me from buying this game in either iteration without a second thought: no online component. Showing off your home town and trading furniture/rare items makes up at least half of what makes these types of games fun. Without it, you've only got an interesting little sandbox game that'll lose it's charm after a couple of days.

I wouldn't have bought Animal Crossing if it didn't sport it's neat little online community, and I won't be buying Mysims for that very reason. It's a crying shame, really.

The reviews for this game say it blows. If you have a pc, just get Sims 2. My daughter plays it and it's really the only Sims game you need. If you don't, I know they have Sims 2 Castaways for the Wii. I'd get that over My Sims.
