Why should 360 owners worry about something coming out next year for the PS3 when you have the next potential 2007 GOTY candidate coming out a few weeks? (Halo 3)

Besides we all know MGS4 will be a good game. But will it be above and beyond what the last two have been? That is the million dollar question.

Plus last I heard 360 owners is supposed to be getting their version as well in four to six months after the PS3's version comes and goes? If thats true then the last laugh will be from the sheepbots like Waco likes to say.:D

At least Halo is coming to an end. I won't have to worry about that series in the next 5 years.

Zelda on the other hand is going to take a back seat because that's Nintendo's ace pitcher. When they're stuck in a rut, they'll release something like "The legend of Zelda: the 7 sage shards or some junk like that. Link, as usual will be said to be a different link in the game, BUT in reality, he just doesn't know what the phuq is going on. Zelda will be giving advice, and getting captured by *spoiler* GANNON! Or, she'll get captured by some powerful villain who works for Gannon.

Link will then look for the master sword because he just happens to "misplace" it every single time. Along the way, he'll speak to Saria who is one of the 7 sages of time, and she will give him a story about how her shard is locked away in the forest temple. So, you go to the forest temple and defeat the temple boss, Goroboxo! Simply hookshot to his feet and when he's limping on the floor, slash at his giant red eye. Do this 3 times and you're awarded the forest sage's shard. When you hold it to the light, it teleports you to any forest region.

From different magazines to G4 TV. The latest in rumor-ville is that Hideo Kojima did not want to port MGS4 to the 360 and wanted MGS4 to remain a PS3 exclusive. And that part of it is accurate. He wont have anything to do with MGS4 coming to the Xbox 360.

However Konami has other plans thats currently has on the drawing board possibly another company that will in fact produce the Xbox 360 port of MGS4 four to six months after the PS3's version hits the shelves sometime next year. That was the last I heard of it. So if that in fact is true why own a PS3 again? :idea:

Seriously, I heard about that rumor too. G4, EGM, Game Informer, a few people were talking about MGS4 being ported to the 360, from Konami's decision, NOT Kojima's.

Hell yeah, I'm all up for that, EVERY gamer needs to get a piece of Bioshock in their system. They need to work on the bioshock engine to work on the wii, for true.

I'm a bit confused on that.

If you mean, am I willing to accept those rumors to BE true, then no, because that's just my opinion...that doesn't mean that they are ACTUALLY true. But, if you mean, am I willing to accept those rumors IF THEY BECOME true, then hell yeah! share the wealth!

They are, after all, just rumors. If they come true, then great! If they don't, that's fine too.

It's just a subject of interests. For me, it's something to talk about at work, at the water cooler.

I'd rather see a version of Bioshock for Wii than for Ps3. There's already the HD version on 360, seems like Ps3 would be redundant, not to mention the small base, and that a lot of hardcores own both Ps3 and 360 and will have played it already.

But they could make a very nice looking version of the game with Wii controls, I'd be all over that. I mean, as long as we're speculating on unlikely rumors. . . .that's my 2 cents.

Yeah just as Halo is "coming to an end" they will be releasing Halo Wars. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking Halo 3 is the final game in the franchise, MS will be milking this franchise for a long time yet in one way or another.


As for Bioshock on the Wii, I'm not so sure about that. They can probably make Bioshock on the Wii and make it look good, but probably the primary draw of Bioschock to the current 360 and PC audience is its graphics, graphics that create its atmosphere. Would it really manage the same kind of atmosphere with less-than-state-of-the-art graphics?

Admittedly another major point for Bioshock is its sound, and System Shock 2 and Thief were incredibly atmospheric on their sound despite having rather lackluster graphics -- but that was almost a decade ago.

I'm a graphics whore for all to see but I would really have to say that playing it on the Wii would be a totally different experience (not talking about the controls) if the graphics were downgraded.

I think if you hadn't played it elsewhere, the "downgrade" might not be as noticeable, especially if they did a really good job. Metroid Corruption bleeds atmosphere and style, and looks pretty damned good from a technical standpoint. Bioshock looks great techically of course, but it looks amazingly creative artistically, so I think the atmosphere would be pretty intact on the Wii, and there is a large userbase diverse enough that this game would sell. Corruption sold, there's people who want to play some great shooting games with this control. . . it's not just me and Trebor.

I say it again. . . there's piles of money to be made out there on the Wii, and devs are just leaving it there on the table right now.

Table Tennis looks like dog poop? Hard to understand why it would turn out looking like dog poop. The system has demonstrated that it is capable of games that don't look like "dog poop." I'm happy with games that look good and play great. If Rockstar put in so little effort that the game looks like dog poop, should we expect it to play like dog poop too?

I just checked out a video for the game, and while it doesn't have the flowing clothes and polish of the 360 version, it still looks solid, and not anything like poo. The players seemed to have a bit of problems with the control, though.
