Maybe many of you would disagree, but me and my fiancee have just been playing and came to this conclusion, we own all of the mp series and 4 is the most biased one of them all, it seems to choose a player at the start of the game and do everything to help them win, just now proved my point.
Turn 1, Luigi landed on a hidden block, free star
Turn 3, Luigi landed on a hidden block, 20 free coins
Turn 5, Using the 20 free coins, brought a star which was 2 squares away from the hidden block
Turn 6, Luigi landed on a hidden block, free star
Turn 7, Luigi rolled a 9 and spent 20 coins to buy a star using 2 moves, the star went along the same path as his several moves down, Luigi moves using the remaining 7 moves and uses almost all his remaining coins to buy the star.
Quit playing since Luigi was way ahead in the lead
This is the crap that shouldn't be in party games, it all should be very carefully balanced!! Even some of the sub games are vastly unbalanced especially the 1 vs 3 games, some of those suck badly, such as cranes that game favors the crane controller so much.
