Metroid Prime Corruption Channel

Was anybody else pleasantly surprised by the soothing blue pulse of their Wii this morning? And no, I'm not referring to morning wood, you pervs.

Anywho, there is a new WiiWare download for Metroid Prime 3 videos that is available now. I downloaded it, watched it and was amazed by the realization that Nintendo is direct marketing through the WiiConnect 24, which had here-to-for been used for not too much.

This new channel gives me some hope that Nintendo may actually start making better use of the tools at their disposal (namely WiiConnect 24). The Metroid channel seems pretty bare-bones to me, but it's a start! I'd love to see a channel dedicated to games on the Wii menu aside from the virtual console.
