Is this game any good on the PS3? I'm wondering whether to play it on PC or PS3. On the one hand I'll get better graphics on the PS3 since my gaming desktop is back home, but it's a lot cheaper on the PC, not to mention mouse support > SIXAXIS.
Anyone played this on the PS3?

I haven't played it on the PS3. Seems like there should have been a demo released.
I'd rather play it with the Sixaxis.

I have it. I read that 360 version is superior but I haven't seen anything really wrong with PS3 version either. I like the team mechanic a lot better than GRAW on 360. But GRAW PC was the best. You can tell ur teammate how to act and where to be individually. I don't know if this is the case with Vegas. Like GRAW 360, you have to move your teammates as a group, not separately. I guess, you'd have to find it out yourself.

There is nothing wrong compared to the 360 version except for the occasional muddier texture. If I didn't already have this game, I would definitely get it for the PS3. Tons of replay value for this game.
You can't order the guys to do their own thing, they do it as a group, but the AI is nice and smart.

But a lot of times, they are too over power imo. Maybe Ubisoft is trying to compensate the fact they are A.I, they usually just go out and kill everything for me. They don't even bother to cover sometimes. They just get the job done. While I get pinned down by enemies' firepower, seeing them just go out and dominate is a bit unrealistic imo.

I just really suck at these types of game(strategic), because I was always having to heal my dudes in the middle of a firefight because I would send them into an ambush to get murdered before I would enter the room.
T-hunt constantly rapes me down. But still, it's my favorite mode of play, especially when you get three other guys in the room.
Does the PS3 version have 4-player offline play? It appears that you can have it on the 360, but really only two can sign on.

My dad bought Vegas for the PS3. I had no intention of purchasing it for PS3 as I can only play so many games like it (GRAW). Anyways I've only played it once and comparing it to the 360 version it seems almost as if it is the exact same version.

I decided to hold off on R6V. Found some deals on 007: Everything or Nothing and Tales of Symphonia, not to mention I have yet to finish RE4 and Metroid Prime, so I'm holding off on buying any new games for the time being lol.

The team mechanic in Vegas is similar to GRAW PC, at least in the PC version of Vegas. It's no SWAT 4 but you can command your men to do tasks like hold an area while you go out and do your thing.
I don't think you could command them individually like in GRAW PC but my memory is a little fuzzy. I seem to recall it was possible to command them individually but I could be wrong. I haven't played Vegas in a while I uninstalled it maybe 4-5 months back.
