Rogue Bounty Hunter

I think there's a couple of posts somewhere in Sys Wars about the demo, but I wanted to make a thread to have every impression about the demo in one place. Feel free to post your opinions, of course, and if the demo has you either wanting or waiting on the game.
My impressions:
The game loosk great. The cutscene with Nariko talking to her sister shows a lot of good facial animation. The graphics look great. The framerate chugs a little, but it's just a demo, so I'm not worried about it. If it wasn't fixed in the final version, it wouldn't hurt my enjoyment of the game. The God of War-like button presses on running down the rope wasn't bad. It wasn't as annoying as in Spiderman 3, where it usually mean redoing the part over and over and over.I hope it isn't overdone in the final version, though. The combat was fun as well. It doesn't feel like GoW as much as I thought it would. The ranged attack is the one style that could give it a GoW comparision, but that's about it for me. The blocking isn't as annoying as it could have been. If every style had to be used in order to block, then it would have been a bit frustrating. Luckily, they left out having to block with the ranged attack and left speed & power as the only ones to worry about. I'm still used to using a button to block instead of standing still. What fighting game allowed for blocking by just standing still, Soul Calibur? Overall, the demo is short but long enough to give me a feel of what to look forward to. I'm definitely getting this title when it comes out in September.
