My wife bought this bluetooth thingy for my phone but I never use it. But I may as well see if the PS3 will register it. But otherwise no. I had a Logitech usb headset but the wife used it on her PC and she always wrapped the cord too tight when she finished using it and pulled the wire loose from its end.

Please let me know how the blutooth headset works for your PS3 after you have an opportunity to test it out. I'm more interested in that than USB headsets anyhow. The last thing I want is to be connected via USB to the console (I sit too far from the television and console).

Sure I'll plug it up and test it when I get home tonight.

The one that comes with Warhawk is supposed to be a good one. If I was a big online gamer, I would consider Warhawk and get the headset with it (though I rarely even spoke on the 360 headset).
Speaking of Warhawk, does anyone feel the game is overpriced, being a multiplayer-only (offline & online) game?

No. Sounds infinitely replayable from everything I've read and heard.

Without some sort of storyline to push me from start to finish, I get the feeling the game will get old kind of quick. At the price I thought it should have been ($39.99), I can see playing it on and off from time to time. It's tempting, because I like the 3rd person view, the on-foot, in vehicles, and in the air combat at anytime (looks that way), but I'm leaning towards passing on it and get a good single player game, like Lair. A sale or price drop, and I could reconsider. Any idea of the game will have bots in it, for the offline 2-4 player option?
I'm convinced that the devs didn't put in a single player mode simply because they aren't good at programming AI.

I've read that the downloadable version will cost $39.99 and the retail package will be more expensive especially if they throw in a headset.
And by infinitely replayable I was referring to the online multiplayer aspect of the game. Maps are supposedly gigantic and there is a lot of gameplay variety considering the different vehicles and the large scale mayhem (currently 16 vs. 16 but being optimized for 32 vs. 32 players).

It worked. I put the headset (Sony Ericsson HBH-610) in pair mode and the PS3 asked for the 4 digit code, so it's registered. I didn't actually test it in an online game, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I have a bluetooch headset for my phone as well. Since my PS3 is hooked up to the enterainment system, using a corded USB headset is unrealistic as I'd have to move up closer to the TV and the cord would come over the TV as the PS3 sits on a shelf atop of it with the all the other stereo equipment. I'm off work the next three days so I'm just going to go spend some time with it.
