Take heart, young padawans, it isn't bad - it's better than bad, it's GOOD. Perhaps even GREAT.

The flight missions are everything that one could hope for - beautiful, fast and smooth. The graphics are at least as good as Rogue Leader, perhaps even better. There are very tasty DVD quality excerpts from the original Star Wars Trilogy - which is awesome.

Okay, the on-foot segments are a bit slapdash, but tolerable - and not even the worst 3rd person controls I've played. That dubious honor goes to the Resident Evil remake. They basically consist of running from point A to point B and blasting as many Stormtroopers as possible. Most of the time, you need to make it to a E-Web Stationary Gun (like the one in the Hoth demo), which puts you in a 1st person perspective - which is very similar to a FPS, except in the SW universe, which is actually rather fun.

But the BEST reason to purchase this game is the multiplayer...to put it lightly...it is incredibly *fun* :-) Rogue Leader is in it's entirety as co-op, and let me tell you, it's TOUGH! They increased the difficulty quite a bit to compensate for two players, so if you recall how difficult Rogue Leader was on it's own, you can get an idea about how difficult it is now.

The versus multiplayer is probably the most fun element in the game. There are several modes such as Dogfight, Tag and Defend, Rampage and "Special". The "special" modes consist of a Imperial Walker Rampages, a Trench Run Race and a extremely difficult Endor Speeder Bike Race. I had an absolute blast playing the various versus modes.

All in all, I'm pleased. Rogue Leader is a big game to live up to and Rebel Strike, for the most part, exceeds it. It's just the on-ground element that fudges up an otherwise incredible game.

When you're on foot with luke or whoever, can you move the camera around? Say if you turn your character around and the camera still faces forward and the character walks toward you, you can't see the enemies in front of you if the camera doesn't move when you walk? Are you having this problem too? Kisses! Thanks. But other than that, I love this game, it's so fun! I love Star Wars! Yippie!

Well, unless I'm missing something, I don't think you can control the camera at all while you are "on-foot". I've had that same problem with turning the character around and having them come at you, but eventually the camera will readjust itself to be behind the character.

This game is really growing on me, though. I still love it, despite it's flaws. I'm starting to get used to the "on-foot" stuff too.

What level are you on right now?

I've had a hard time deciding if I want this or Castlevania...

Yes, exactly. If you loved Rogue Leader, you'll like Rebel Strike.

And inside that same Game Informer RS III only received a 6.5 rating overall as well.

Plus the game only had an overall average of 76.1% rating. While the other Star Wars game Knights Of The Old Republic had an overall average rating of over 94%.

Maybe RS III is more flash and less substance perhaps.Dont believe me? Read it for yourself.RS III isnt as beloved as some of you pretends it to be.

Ahhh...yes. The return of Parrot Boy. Hey Parrot, we've heard this sqwaking from you enough already - your like a broken record. Nevertheless, this is a System Wars post and not one for the Gamecube forum. So in other words...

STFU!
