Rogue Bounty Hunter

Even after a 2nd remix, it's still the best action game around. I only beat the original once, and barely got into NG:Black before my Xbox broke, so this is a worthy purchase.
I'm curious to see how the Rachel parts of the game plays out.. I didn't like using her when I first played the demo, but she grew on me once I stopped trying to use her like she was Ryu. It would be nice if she was playable throughout after the game was finished.
Only Gamestop has the Limited Edition, but I don't think it's worth a purchase.
Has anyone else picked up the game?

I'll buy this game the very same day I buy a PS3.
Are the Rachel parts of the game thrown in with the regular story of Ryu, or are they a different side-story? It would seem like it would throw off the flow of the main game if they were mixed in with Ryu's missions.

I haven't reached any yet, but the Rachel parts are thrown in with Ryu's story (from what I read in previews). I remember a few parts in the first NG where her missions would play out (one has to be before Ryu's mission where he fights the boss Alma), so maybe it won't throw off Ryu's story as much as it will enhance it.

Rachel looks funny when she runs. I think I'll try and have her walk as much as possible. Her projectile weapon feels useless, but overall, I think she's a good fighter. I can't remember if using the hammer is different for Rachel and it was for Ryu, since I never wanted to use it in combat in the first NG. I know Ryu didn't have the move where Rachel blocks, rolls over the enemy's back, then attacks (her counter attack) for example, so I'm going to guess it is a completely different combat experience.

I heard that the CG for this game is weak-sauced, especially compared to the hd graphics in game.
Anyone doing Mission mode?

The CG looks like they took them straight from the Xbox version of the game. They don't look great, but since there's not a lot of them, I can overlook it. The rest of the game looks great, IMO.
I may skip mission mode. I thought it would be interesting after I finish the game, but I think for every 4 Ryu missions, there's only 1 Rachel mission. That sucks, because after playing most of the game with Ryu, I would want to play a lot of missions with Rachel. I'm used to using her now.
Rachel needs her own game. I don't care if it's for PS3 or 360 (as long as it's not a Wii or DS title), but the guy who was in charge of Sigma needs to take the Rachel character and do a full spin-off with her as the main character. Itakagi (sp?) can still be the head guy of Ninja Gaiden, though who knows how long before the sequel comes out.

Rachel is 10 times better than Ryu. Her back dash is better. She can roll around enemies and roll over them. It's just so much better when you are gang banged by multiple enemies. I don't find this game as hard as most claimed though. Some parts are kinda annoying but nothing thus far has frustrated me as much as freaking DMC3.

Really? I find that hard to belive. Does she have as deep a moves list as Hyabusa? How about different weapons?

well it's not about like who has better moves per se, imo. It's about how to get out of the situation where you are stuck in blocking. If it's just one on one or even 2 on one, it's not a problem to kill them, no matter what moves you really have. When there are 3 - 5 enemies hitting you at the same time i find it better with Rachel just rolling over one of the enemies then you can even get enough time to get a charged attack out.
I have like 6 weapons now but I don't really bother to use anything else but the swords. Rachel's boobs are insanely huge. That guy from Team Ninja needs to get away from Hentai.
