this game is off the scale in terms of quality, playability, and originality...read this review and be prepared to drool over the screen shots...

Be forewarned, Odin Sphere is an Atlus game, and they never make enough copies.

Holy crap, the graphics are beyond, I mean they are freaking beautiful. this is a 2D game!?!
I wish they optimized the game a bit more the slowdown is a pain but the game just looks so freaking cool. I feel like I'm playing Valkyrie Profile but with more emphasis on fighting and less on levelling. Awesome game I shouldn't have waited so long to pick this one up!

My wife hi-jacked that game from me and I couldn't get it back til she got Guitar Hero.
Btw, Mochan I'll be there in a couple weeks. Can you point me to a mall where I can get some games? :)

I wanted to play this game like...bad. But, being the dip**** that I am, I traded in my PS2 for, I dunno, crackrock or something stupid like that, and haven't had the chance.
But on a good note, the same people are making a game for the Wii, Oboro Muramasa (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/25660.html), that looks to have the same asskickingly awesome art style (but with a more Japanese mythological bent)...and a healthy dose of oldschool Ninja Gaiden action thrown in for added flavor.
So I might've missed out on one Vanillaware title, but I'll be damn sure not to let this one pass me by.

Oboro Muramasa looks awesome as well, great! One more reason to eventually pick up a Wii!
Where will you be staying anyway, TT? Not all malls have PS2 games these days and other console games. I go to a little flea market affectionately called "Ruins" where you can pick up all the good stuff, but you can still find stuff in malls like SM Southmall in Las Pinas.

Ruins and Southmall are like on the opposite side of the metropolis. If you're in Marikina you're better off going to Greenhills (Viramall) or SM Megamall along EDSA. Your wife will surely know about those.

Yep I remember Greenhills from the last time I was there. Cool thanks.

Greenhills is the best place to go anyway. Greenhills is like the Shopping Capital of the Philippines. If you can buy it in the Philippines, you can buy it in Greenhills. At the best prices.
