Any news on Psychonauts yet?

Just curious; anyone interested in this game? Is it coming out soon? I was wondering if its even to the point where its playable and been previewed. No one ever seems to talk about his game, but it looks like the coolest platformer on the xbox horizon.

Hasn't this game been delayed a few times? If so, it makes me wonder if it will turn out to be like Tomb Raider was, with all the bugs and such.

Psychonauts is your standard ambitious project mired in development hell. Until I know exactly what the hell the gameplay is supposed to be like, I'm not going to bother anticipating yet another game with grand expectations. First Blinx and its dubiously intergrated time features and Voodoo Vince and its ballyhooed voodoo features which are essentially just window dressing and don't seem to form an integral part of the gameplay. With psychonauts, what the hell is the game, anyway. If it all it is, is a standard platform game with double jumps, spin moves, and bopping on enemy heads, taking place in various surreal settings, then frankly, who cares. It becomes just another platformer.
