A video was also put out that shows new gameplay, especially the use of Nero's Devil Arm, as well as a portion of the what appears to be the first boss fight:

The game looks amazing and Nero's Devil Arm seems to allow for a lot of variation when it comes to air combos.

That's Dante in the screenshots. The video is of Nero, though.

Dante has been confirmed to be playable as the screenshots show.

They addressed this issue in a massive Gamesradar interview recently. Apparently there's a story reason behind it as well as just easing new players into the DMCverse. The working theory right now is that Nero might be either Dante or Vergil's son.

Anyway, Gamesradar is supposed to have more coverage of this game. They scored some type of exclusive with Capcom and the coming weeks should bring more footage from Capcom's Gamer Day which was a couple of weeks ago.

I'm jumping off the hype bandwagon now because I have seen way too much of the game.

I wanna go dark on it now but I may break that edict again. Yeah, they worked. I think you sent over Capcom vs. Snk or something. It was such a long time ago that even I don't remember. Still have the CD's lying around somewhere though.

I think if they ever continue with 2d fighters, they are going to make them for the downloadable services like PSN or Live Arcade instead of making them full blown retail releases. Have you seen the high def Super Turbo screens yet? That title is coming to PSN and Live Arcade sometime in the future. Completely redrawn sprites.

Yes. I also read that stuff like parrying could be added to this new HD title. HOnestly though, why dont' they just make a new game for god's sake. You would think Capcom should've done milking that series by now.

But, if we can play this game via internet, do expect me hurricane kick ur playstation home door wide open and show you what's up.
