Unofficial 360 News from Official MS Reps

Unfortunetly I don't have any links to back up what I'm posting here but I was speaking with a friend of mine who is a manager at my local EB. He said he was speaking with some MS reps and heard some new rumors in the works for current and upcoming 360 titles.

- Microsoft and Square are apparently in good negotiations to bring FF series to Xbox 360.
-Crackdown is releasing a patch to enable 4 player co-op mode.
- Dead Rising to have Co-op play though live patch.
- Capcom's confirmed release of DMC 4 (But we already know this.)

Jus thought I'd pass this along.:D

Holy sh!t to 4-player Crackdown co-op. Anyone want to play Crackdown Bomberman? Yeah! A new mini-game I just invented! Rocket-launchers ony. Maybe only grenades. Fun-fun.

The combat in FF 12 was a step in the right direction for Square, but it also made me want to play a hack and slash. I wonder (but doubt) if Square will do anything with the combat to make the game interesting to a wider audience.

I've heard the coop Dead Rising rumor before and have also heard about the Crackdown rumor although I heard there would be online multiplayer so 4 player coop is close (not sure how else they'd do it).

FF to 360 exclusively could be a dagger in Sony's heart so we'll have to monitor that closely.

For every so called PS3 exclusive that becomes 360 bound it becomes one more reason not to buy a PS3 and one more reason why to buy a console thats $200 dollars cheaper. As far as the other news goes so far so good. Come next month the wait is over and I'll be a 360 owner as well.:thumbsup:

Which 360 are you going to get, NEO, the Premium or the Elite?

Don't forget to get an in-store warranty if you can, especially if the Elite is your pick.

I was just playing Crackdown yesterday(you know, when I get in the mood to drive up skyscrapers), and I went to the downloads page. You know what I saw? "Download the new 4-player pack"! Only, I remembered that I had seen this before, and it was when I first booted up the game, they asked me if I wanted to DL the new skins for my character. I wonder if people are just confusing the skin pack with some new kind of four player co-op? That's my guess. Because it does seem like that's what it should be. There is no more mention of it being skins.
