Gran Turismo HD versus Forza 2: There can be only one winner

For a courtesy to my friends, all pics are culled from IGN. The PS3 pic of GTHD is first, followed by a pic of Forza. Enjoy.

Notice that the PS3 game features aliasing not present in the Xbox 360 title.

Again with this comparison-using a red Ferrari for both-we see that the Xbox 360 Forza 2 pic shows greater anti-aliasing, reflective surfaces and color usage. The PS3 HD game seems to suffer from a bad blurring effect as well.

All in all-and contrary to the Last Load's BS, Forza 2 is shaping up to be the best looking next gen racer and the one to beat.

If you base the "winner" in the next gen simulation racing genre on visuals alone, well then sure, maybe Forza 2 will be the best racer.

There is so much more involved however like how cars handle, damage modeling, variety of vehicles included and how each is distinctly different from the next, which is more fun, online multiplayer, how accurately is each car created, first person/in car viewpoint, etc...

I agree that Forza 2 will more than likely be the better game but aren't in agreement that it will be based just on the visual aspects.
