Early last month our good old friend “blurry cameraphone shot” suggested that Virtua Fighter 5 on PS3 would offer a 1080p mode. Nothing else supported it, but now the game is actually on the shelves in some places and...

So there you have it. Virtua Fighter 5 PS3 is a 1080p game. As well as the standard 480p, 720p and 1080i sizes obviously!

I think I'm going to pick this title up. I don't care for Tekken and Mortal Kombat anymore, I'm more into games that are hand to hand and don't use projectiles and weapons.

I will pick it up too. I have it reserved. I mean, I am not a big fan of it. I was a Tekken guy. That's also why I would pick Tekken 5 DR when it's available for download. I have my eyes on the new girl. I am going to try to get good with her.

Back when I liked the series, I could use Christie, Nina (too bad her action game sucked. Decent controls and that one would have been solid), and Jin.

Looks good. VF5 is a must buy. I wont be picking up a PS3 to play it though. I'll wait for the 360 version thats coming this Summer. Why wait for the download of Tekken 5 DR when you can simply buy Tekken 5 for the PS2 right now? :confused:
