Came across these impressive screenies the other day, I take it all back when I said it was game over for CM, not if it actually looks like this it isn't. http://www.battlefront.com/products/cmak/gallery/index.htm

The pics look awsome!
I'm a total WW2 geek, so i will have to keep my eyes on this game.

I was looking forward to Blitzkieg, but from what i understand the game is tedious and isn't much fun.

I could have sworn I posted one of the smaller shots there on the old boards... Ah here (http://forums16.consumerreview.com/crforum?14@209.s5GPa7ONfbB.1@.ef43a6f/1) it is... Like I said, I'm looking forward more to Afrika Corps than CMBB simply because the nationalities that I want to play are present. They have some particle effects thown in once again, but I still hope they code for OpenGL this time around, instead of DX only, since the fog tables they enjoy using so much in the previous games don't show up on ATi cards. So that dust you see from the backs of the tanks? It'll be non-existant on ATi card users, unless they start coding in OpenGL or switch to Vertex Shading/Fog. It really sucks playing a random game and playing a foggy map with LOS reduced, but no visable fog effects... I remember when I plugged in my GeForce card and first saw the fog, I was ecstatic!

You DONT get the dust with an ATI card? what a pisser I've got one, they have to get that sorted out surely you cant have a game set in the North African desert with no bloody dust.

Again, this is if they insist on coding entirely for DX, using Fog Table support. If they use Vertex Shading, or code in OpenGL, it'll be visible. I don't kow for sure if they are this time around (it's been awhile since I've hit their boards), but knowing the mindset of the dev team, I'm sure they will.
