I have all my reviews in text documents and could easily repost them so they can be associated with my new username. Would this be beneficial? I can then give someone my old name so that there are no duplicates. It would be nice having all my reviews under one name.

A limited amount of request are being honored to transfer old post to new site.[Keeping your old user name would preclude this].

The amount of requests [as well as the # of reviews] is being determined.
