Inside the December issue of EGM(with Master Chief on the cover) there was in fact talk in the rumor mill that Konami is forcing Hideo Kojima to port Metal Gear Solid 4 over to the 360. If this happens that truly will be one of the last of the great exclusives for the PS3.

At one point in time we never thought we would see a Metal Gear Solid game on the Xbox. But it happened. At this point is it possible that Guns Of The Patriot just may end up sharing the spotlight with 360 owners as well as PS3 owners? It could happen.

If it does it would make gamers ask the question: What other games that was once billed a PS3 exclusive may become a multiplatform title? At this point nothing is off limits. Since its all about making money. Developers just may settle for making multiplatforms for everybody and simply adding exclusive content for each port made.

So if Guns Of The Patriot makes its way the 360 do you guys think it'll be a huge blow to Sony or do you think it wont cause much of a stir at all for Sony & PS3 owners? :7:

Don't give yourself too much credit. It's just no one comes around this board. Hell, in all my years on System Wars this is the first time I've set foot in this board.

I've hardly been this board either. Actually when the news first broke out that a port of MGS2 was coming to the Xbox was in the works I posted it here I believe. Of course I was called all kinds of liars. But we all know how that ended up: Becoming a reality.

And once again rumors are in fact buzzing about MGS4 also coming to the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3.When I read that Konami was rumored to be twisting Hideo Kojima's arm to make a port of MGS4:GOTP for the 360 I almost fell over in my chair.

Even though there hasnt been any comment other than yours and mine ilnadmy believe me when I say this: They've read it though. And those that drinks milk out there dont even want to give this rumor an once of thought. The thought of lightning striking twice has their stomach in knots. :D

We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

WHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!! LOL! Big brother you indeed have a problem. ITs all good. LOL! Currently Konami did say that there is no 360 port of MGS4 at this time. Key words:At this time. That means basically that there is no promises that there is going to be one, however it ALSO means that in the future there is a chance that there may be one sometime down the road as well. Ahh.. you can see the milk drinkers starting to crack under pressure.:cryin:

They have ported a few to the pc so why be surprised at this news. Sony offers little incentive to stay exclusive to them. Business is business and the devs go where the install base is and at this point ...that is not the ps3. Maybe down the road but I think Sony has their hands full this round in the console wars to be honest.

Heck..the Wii is kicking ass too for one that is all about fun and not fancy graphics. Somewhere the hardware people forget...it is not nor was it ever a hardware war. The best hardware doesn't make the best console system. The best games do and as pretty as a game can get if it is lame..it is still a BAD game. Nintendo builds hardware around the games which is different than MS and Sony who build the hardware and make games fit. Sure...they leave more room for growth but let's face it...already there is a GPU out to best the PS3 GPU and the thing is new.

Let's just say I dunno who you people are paying 1500 for a PS3 but your bragging rights are just to prove how much money you burned up for no reason. Not impressed as anyone can own a PS3 down the road but first we need a REASON.

Considering that Sega just announced that Virtua Fighter 5 is also coming to the 360(summer 2007) the chances of MGS4 being ported over to the 360 is looking more and more of a possibility after all.
