I've skimmed this board and have noticed that no one has posted anything about the upcoming Xbox release of Dance Dance Revolution. Just wondering if anyone would mind posting some information regarding it, and it's accessories. I havent' heard of any major companies creating pads for the Xbox...
Thanks

[I thought DDR a PS2 fad, I underestimated]
ETA: RUMORED to be years end [Dec '03]. Its being ported as "DDR Ultramix".
Amazing, & it has XBL support too.

I think I'm the only that's said anything about it... but everything that I've said was in the context of System Wars. I also, very distinctly, remember saying something else, and that's... YOU WILL NOT CATCH ME DEAD ON THAT THING!
But I digess.
Naki is making a dance pad - no surprise there, eh - and so is Pelican. The Pelican pad will be wireless though. The Naki pad should go for about $20, while the wireless Pelican pad should be priced around $40. I've seen these among the other "coming soon" games and accessories at GameStop Online. Here's a link to their site, and the first of the XBox coming soon pages:

I wouldn't beleive the release dates that they're currently showing for these though. Their dates, as well as for a lot of other things, have been jumping all around.

The idea of this type of game sounds intrieging. Perhaps I would do it on a whim. However, since I live on the second floor of an apartment building and the downstairs guys can hear whenever I merely walk ... imagine the complaints I would get playing on a DDR game mat.
Incidently, I have a 55 lb dog who likes to play late at night. Every once in a while he runs around the apartment with his toy ... and I swear it sounds like a horse tromping through my apartment.

Nice play on words, Glock. Get it, "jumping all around" ....? Oh forget it, I'm tired.
