Funny how seemingly every gamer in the world has become a non-gamer greedy entrepreneur. All these PS3s on Ebay and the price therein is all the evidence I need. #1...the first day PS3 was released, PS3s were going for $10-$15K....if you look today, the average is about $1000-$1200. The Wii's first day, apparently the price is around $500-$600 on Ebay. Could this be because EVERYONE that got a PS3 is trying to Ebay it? Supply vs Demand? I'd imagine, the price for PS3 is gonna spike 2 more times in the immiediate future...black Friday and days before Christmas. This is merely simple economics.

So we all know that there really is no reason to own a PS3 yet, gaming wise. The Wii actually has better games now...err...well, at least there's Zelda.

Through all this, you know MS is laughing at Sony, and maybe even Nintendo.

So do we have any Ebay entrepreneurs?

Weirded than that, BROKEN Xbox 360s sell for around $200 on ebay. They typically don't include a HDD or controllers, yet people still buy.

I don't know about MS laughing at Sony for this. The 360 went through the same thing last year. You are right in saying though that the PS3 right now is less a gaming machine and more a hot-selling eBay money-making item.

More like the bad worth of mouth on the ps3 has gotten out and people are realizing just how lackluster the lineup is. You wouldn't believe how quickly the various ps3 technical issues have reached the masses. Today at stores I went to, shoppers cared about the wii and the 360. The ps3 sections were mostly dead, one or two people checking them out. It was very funny. A girl was arguing with her boyfriend, "why do you want a ps3, you already have a 360 and they play the same games. You're so stupid. " Classic.

Sony got hosed by nintendo. Everyone's talking about the wii, the lines in my area were much longer than for the ps3. I heard lots of people asking, when are you getting more wiis in. PS3, who?

And I don't see any spikeage for the ps3. Gamers are pissed, retailers are pissed, and the mayor of Boston is pissed, and he's sending sony a bill for all the problems the launch caused in Boston. Sony effed up the launch of the ps3 something fierce. Pathetically low unit allocations and a host of technical issues that need resolving immediately. Next gen begins when we say it does. Oh, the irony of that statement. Words to die by. Looks good on them, they deserve every bit of bad press they're getting. They earned each and every slam and dig with their unbridled arrogance and incredible incompetence. How do you NOT test a high def gaming system on high def tvs. How is that possible? Unfrickin believable.

It seems no one wants to keep their PS3 right now and are trying to cash in...how could these people be so stupid as to sell them now? Wait until the rush is all I am saying.
