It would seem that DELETE option is unavailable for me on "EDIT/DELETE" page.
Suggestion to users: Select one of your old post, click EDIT/DELETE button on bottom of post.
Now, can you find "DELETE" option? :confused:

Actually you can delete the post by selecting Edit/Delete, and then checking the Delete Checkbox...

Anyway, I think I have the solution to your problem... Make sure you are uploading the picture to your Avatar submission, and not to your Profile Submission. There are two areas you can upload, post pics. You want to select the top buttons and forms to upload/attach your files to. If you have major problems still, send me the pic you want attached, and I'll make sure it conforms to the standards set here... then I can even go so far as to host the pic on my site, and then you can upload it from the URL option.

[1] I & Lara have both tried to delete post, no luck. BTW, there is NO "DELETE" checkbox available after clicking "EDIT/DELETE" on message board, it just isnt there [for us anyway].

[2] I mailed my avatar earlier this am to Lara for attempt to post, again, no luck [she posted av you now see by my name].
I have also tried both avenues of posting avatar & still get the same message "does not meet requirements".

Curiosity sent me to another vBulletin forum I often visit. There, I was able to upload the file that failed here. The only difference is that "other" site had more liberal capacities for size. None the less, I confirmed my file to be 50 pixels, 14,475 bytes & GIF format.

Lara is taking my file & lack of "DELETE" button to Chris on Monday.
If you would like to try my avatar file, I'll send it.

It looks to me that "initial" posts cannot be deleted if there is a thread under it. The only option I have is to edit out the text.

About the Avatar, the download must have something about it that causes an error. I tried several ways to save the file so that it would be accepted with no luck. I also grabbed a bunch of avatars off the net and could upload them with no problem. This one is a mystery to me.

E.T. Got your avatar up. I had no problem downloading from the site you found it from and uploading it here. I am not sure, but my guess is the way it was saved was the problem. When you sent the download to me, I tried previewing it with no luck.

The avatar is cool, but a little small. Enlarging it only made it blurry. If you're happy with it great!
But if you want to change it, that won't be a problem.

Thanks Lara, now I have something to work with. I guess a good place to start will be dowloading others, & send them to friends mail boxes to see if they can view them. The I'll try to change avatar...& then again maybe I should quit while I'm ahead...lol! :D

The first post can NOT be deleted, however all subsequent ones can
