New Mark as Read icons- what do you think?

When you are on the main Gaming Forums Board screen, you'll see these icons...

Grey for Unread, yellow for New Content since the last visit. Here's what I propose...

What do you guys think, especially Lara (and I think his name is Chris)? I want some input on my hard work! ;)

I can make the other icons (gamepads) for the VGR boards as needed!!

I like it - I've actually mentioned this idea to our creative director a while back, since our small logos are the perfect size for this. It might be a while before we get it implemented though. Things are hectic around here.

They're good, but I think the orange on the Marked as Read icons should be a more neutral colour (like a bluey-grey or something) and on the New Content icons it should just be orange, not flashing orange and red. That'd make the difference more distinct imo.

Yup, looks good, and fits the theme much better than the standardized "V" symbol.

They look good, man. Congrats on getting em put up :)

Though they're a bit smaller than what you originally envisioned...it might just be cuz the icon size is hardcoded on the Vbulletin Board template.

Well, altering it too much would defeat the purpose. I was retaining the original logo without being to disruptive. I think if they were posted as is, you'd instantly notice a difference.

Hey Steve, it's not so much supposed to be a large logo, but more of a small icon. I'll see if I can gray-out the "read" icon a little more to make it more distinct.
