i don't get the Rick James and smackdown reference though. who is Rick James? and smackdown is wrestling, yes?

Haha no, you have to watch The Chapelle Show to get that reference. In one of his skits he pretends to be Rick James, and he's basically a rowdy guy that goes around punching and slapping people that he doesn't like. It's really hilarious, and he keeps repeating this line: "I'M RICK JAMES, *****!"

It's become part of American culture really, whenever someone is being rowdy and shouting and *****-slapping people, he's sort of like Dave Chapelle's take on Rick James.
