Dark Messiah - Best Game Ever??

Well, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic recently just opened the public beta multiplayer, and I have never played a game that had such an awesome fighting mechanic. It like revived the moments I had when I first played CS, Starcraft, etc..the classes are all fun to play, and I am just rocking with the Priestess. Who here agrees with me??

I don't really care a whit about the multiplayer aspect (I'll have NWN2 to fill that void); however, I AM stoked about the singleplayer experience. The demo offered an extreme amount of fun. I think I played the demo through about 6 times, pretty much unheard of with me. I will play a demo (and I rarely bother with those), maybe twice. It's my second most anticipated game, following close on the heels of NWN 2.

I think the single player game is will be good but I honestly also think it will be one of these super short but fun games, the multiplayer side is the weakest part of it, it could have been so much better but instead is rather on the crappy side, a wasted chance IMO.

I wonder if Dark Messiah will be able to be modded?

It's listed on the Mod DB site, so I'd imagine there's a good chance of it happening. I'm more anxious to get the map editor than anything. As long as people are making maps for the game, it'll be around for the long haul... Again, MP I'm not interested in much. I just want to kick things off ledges and into spiked walls... Heh.
