*Interesting thing in the Mag. There's a Circuit City mini-flyer-thingy which talks about a few games. What comes with it are about 6 coupons for:

- Free $10 Gift Card with purchase of Super Dragon Ball Z, Test Drive Unlimited, Backyard Baseball 07, Tiger Woods PGA 07, FIFA Soccer 07, The Godfather, NBA 07 The Live Vol 2, ATV Offroad Fury 4, ATV Offroad Fury Pro, or Gangs of London.

- Save 10% on any game $19.99 and up

-Save 15% on either XBOX Live Arcade Unplugged, Ninety-Nine Nights, or Gears of War, Tony Hawk Downhill Jam, World Series of Poker Tourney of Champs, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Cabelas Alaskan Adventure

Only thing about these 6 total coupons is they are through the month of October. That's fine for Marvel: UA (which I know where I will get this now unless a pre-order deal is too good to pass up) but for GoW, well, they must have made these before the final release date was made. I wonder if they will make the GoW one valid since it will be in Nov?

Man, I don't understand why everybody's hating on Texas Hold'em.(?)

Ford Bold Moves Street Racing - 3.0 (too bad, this game had Darwin written all over it)

Hah! That's hilarious! (Too bad Darwin doesn't visit us anymore tho'.)

I don't like it, mainly because I don't know how to play it. I don't like seeing it on tv either.

Where is Darwin? I'm surprised he didn't pop up after Test Drive came out. He's usually a big racing game fan.

I didn't used to. I used to hate that poker was on tv so much. I didn't get it. But because of this game, I've become infatuated with poker. Texas Hold'em might be the greatest game evar. It's right up there with football, curling, and craps, at the least. And now I can't get enough poker on my tv. I've even been staying up till the wee hours of the night just so's I can watch it. I am all over the World Series of Poker telecasts - watching each episode several times. I bought the movie Rounders - a movie which I previously swore I'd never see. I joined a couple of poker sites. Played in a tournament for a million bucks already. And even bought my own chip set (a really nice one in a sweet heavy case and everything). I love it!

Yeah, don't see him on Live much anymore either.

Guess he's concentrating on other things right now.

How much different is Texas Hold 'Em from Regular Poker?

a) Slightly different
b) Moderately different
c) As different as a Western RPG is from a Japanese RPG

I wouldn't be shocked if he and TMG come back around the Wuu and PS3 release.

Answer = d) Not at all different

I think even the A.I. is pretty comparable to what you see with human players - whether they be online, or playing in the WSOP...
