I'm sorry, but I'm sick of seeing some stupid spammer headlining with the latest thread on some stupid game he's pimping. And why do spammers always talk like they're a fellow gamer, but always use expressions like "it's crazy" in all caps to describe their game? Like people really talk like that. What are they, stupid? I finished Gothic last night. Now I'm gonna start playing gothic 2 and the expansion. I don't need no stinking Oblivion, I've got the Gothics and my Morrowind mods. LOL. If you read this, Bane, I'm around after 7 pst tonight.

Wow! You finished Gothic and I'm still in chapter 1. I just became a shadow. Now I'm supposed to go snoop around the sect camp.
Of course, I've been pretty busy the last few weeks and I've been dividing my gaming between Gothic and the Suffering, but still.

Zod, I joined the old camp as a fire mage. I wanted to join the sect, but you can't become a full mage with the sect. As a full mage, the second half of the game is a cakewalk . It's too easy actually. Nothing can stop you. Then you get a spell at the end that is the only spell you can use to defeat the boss enemies, but it's so powerful that you can use it on anything and wipe it out. I slaughtered the poor orcs in the orc city with it. They should have made it where you had to beat the stuff at the end with just your regular spells. Another thing is you become so rich in the second half of the game you have more money and stuff than you know what to do with. I must have had a hundred spell scrolls I never used. I finished the game as a level 36 mage.

I played a lot of Gothic 2 this weekend. Already up to level 4 and did the quests to become a citizen of the town. I think they improved the textures in gothic 2 Gold. The brief time I played G2 before quitting over a year ago, I remember not being too impressed with the graphics. But this version looks a lot aharper and more detailed.

Agreed: The board is dead. Currently, there are a couple of spam topics at the top, "free laptop" or somesuch. I'm sure they'll be removed sometime today, but that doesn't change the fact that, on an active board, that wouldn't be so much of a problem since legitimate, interesting posts should outnumber the crap. At the moment it seems to be a balance between interesting stuff and spammy rubbish. And that makes me sad.
