Okay guys, the other day I was at Half Price Books and they had an MS Sidewinder Precision Pro and the Logitech Wingman Inteceptor for $9.99 a piece.
Now I don't use the joystick very often (originally I only bought one because you could not play X-Wing or TIE Fighter without one) and I thought I'd ask you: Which of the two was the better stick?
I liked the trigger on the Wingman better, but bought the Sidewinder becase the rest of the buttons seemed better arranged.

I really liked my ms force feedback 1 stick but xp does not support it. I use a wingman 3d now that is pretty good. I use it for Freespace 2 still and Mechwarrior games.

I still have my old Logitech Wingman Force and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's not only a great stick, the base is so heavy that if someone broke into my house, I think I could kill him with it.

LOL...yes both the Logitech and the MS one are damn heavy joysticks. Enter at your own risk !

At this point, I'd just say buy the one that looks better.

This is the ultimate guys. I bought one of these two piece game controller sets and they are fantastic. I am into flight sims and play the IL 2 complete addition.

They don't have the old fashioned force feedback on the stick. Pitch, roll and yaw are adjusted electronically to suit the player.

The throttle as a seperate unit is terrific. So smooth and realistic. Not like the pathetic dial on the cheaper units such as Logitec or M/s.
