Valve have revealed a new look for the long-awaited sequel:

It's pretty cartoony, with the aim being to shift away from the run of the mill CS-clones into a more distinct style. From the comments I've read so far most people seem to like it. I certainly do. Though I guess on the hardcore fan sites there will be people decrying the "dumbed down game for kiddies" look (which it really isn't -- there's a guy with a sniper gun there; hardly kiddy material).

I wrote this game off as vaporware a long time ago, but the comic book look is... interesting. It's definitely unique among all the realistic looking military shooters out there. However they better take some bold steps with the gameplay, because multiplayer has come a long way since the TFC days.

This is one of my favorite games from way back. I use to play this game 9 hours straight with out eating. I don't really care for the new look as long as the gameplay is still there it should be ok.

For me, depends on how many hackers there are playing. Right now, i'm playing WarRock, its potentially a very decent game but totally plagued by hackers and exploiters. Its protected by punkbuster but its not the ironwall of protection people think it is. Gunz is another casualty of hackers and cheats, at least when it comes out of beta there will be huge account bans but still thats not going to stop people from cheating.
