Last night my wife got pissed at me for playing the game too much. First she cursed me out while on live playing Tikkie (Jaa phanom) at fight night so I stop playing for a minute so we can have a discussion about our relationship :rolleyes: after we finish. I decide to get back online I want a rematch against Tikkie so he's playing fivespot at the time. My wife comes down to my game room (actually my basement den) I'm thinking something bad is about to happen I'm playing Uno I mute the mic she walks pass smiles at me goes to the entertainment center and crash. My 360 gets slammed. The face plate goes flying I looke in disbelief and awe. So I picks it up and put it back. Then go to bed. I don't even know if the the thing works anymore.

I'll have to be pay special attention to both my two cats and my wife in the near future in hopes of preventing either from destroying any 360 related merch.

Dang man, that's almost the exact same thing that happened to me a couple nights ago when I was playing FNR3 against Cuddly Knife (minus the slamming of the 360). My wife kicked the door open and was staring me down. That's the look she gives me before she starts breaking stuff. So I promptly say to Cuddly Knife, "Uh...dude...I gotta go".

I really don't understand it. The moment I start playing on Live with you guys, she feels like I'm ignoring her and not giving her enough attention. And you can't really reason with her because whatever you say or do is wrong.

Anyways, I hope your 360 is OK and also hope your wife isn't still pissed with you. If you can get online again, I'm looking forward to the rematch. I think that the game is heavly skewed in favor of the power guys so we should pick our guys accordingly.

I always try to read my wife and submit BEFORE she explodes... it's not worth letting everything come to a head. Wife always wins otherwise... strange anomaly of nature.

Yeah it's screwed. It's the disc drive I guess because I can turn it on ok but it won't play any disc but arcade games and downloaded demos work fine. I got it from circuit city with a replacement warrenty though they'll take it back no questions. The thing is I want to keep my HDD maybe I can exchange it for a core pack. guess I'll find out tommorrow.

This is joking, but half serious. I think the only thing that could break up me and my gril would be over one of us cheating or the fact that she can't deal with my love affair with games.

I did exactly what you might do about the core pack, except I had other intentions. I bought the premium, and kept the HDD, returned it to my local Wally World for a refund. The girls who run the returns counter are morons, and know of nothing that should be included, so I kept my HDD and got the refund, and bought me a core pack with an extra game. I don't need the shiny silver on the disc drive, and I prefer wired controllers over wireless anyways. I feel lost without my cords.

I did the same thing with my PSP, and I have two extra memory cards and two extra batteries because of it. I rule over the heartless corporation!

In your case, I don't see why it would be a problem to exchange the HDD since they'll both be considered "used".

Well what happend was they gave me a new premium and I got to keep my old HDD so now I'm just sitting around with an extra hardrive. I may create a silver account and use it for demoes and trailers. And my main HDD for live arcade games and any DLC I want.

About the old lady she complaines about th game a lot but if I go on live when she's already expressing her disapproval of my time on the game (i.e. *****ing) and start talking to people she flips. She got so mad even Jaa Phanom (Tikkie) heard her.

You one lucky SOB to have 2 HDD! And that's a sweet idea to use one for demos and BS and use the other for gaming!

And that's the secret. Don't do what she hates most when she's already hating on it, if that made sense. It's like my girl. She gets mad at me for laughing when she's trying to be serious, and if I laugh again for laughing, boy, do I hear it!
