Which route are you gonna take? We've seen it all now, so make you're judgement!!!

The 360 is starting to look a little more appealing after this year's E3, but I'm still not sold on it.

Right now I'm all about some Wii.

I only know that for sure I'll have a Wii, and by this time next year I should own Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Zelda Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime Corruption, Mario Galaxy, Elebits, Excite Truck, Warioware, Wii Sports, Trauma Center and maybe Red Steel, and maybe some more Monkey Ball. And probably some other titles I forgot. And a bunch of classic downloads.

360 and Ps3. . . the balance keeps teeter tottering on which one I want as my second "eye candy" console. As much fun as is going on with DS and Ps2, I'll probably just wait and see how the 360 and Ps3 turn out. Neither is really offering too many titles I can't live without. . .so no reason to shell out for their ridiculous prices yet.

Also on Wii, I might even buy my first Madden game in years after reading how well the control has been applied to it.

And Square's Dragon Quest Swords has my interest up, as it appears to be a sword fighting game, and that's one of the things I really wanted to be done with the new control.

And Metal Slug Anthology will see all five games in one package for the Wii, re-done with motion control. Other third party titles that are looking good so far are the Tony Hawk game, and Rayman Raving Rabids. I probably wouldn't be looking at the Tony Hawk franchise, which I used to love but have gotten bored of, if it weren't for the possiblity that the new control might make the game a new experience all over again.

Wii is definitely a must-have console with a great launch window line-up.

Wii for certain with a leaning but nowhere close to a commitment for the 360. Oh and the DS lite here in 7 days woohooo....

There are enough A+ DS titles coming between now and December that it's like, what am I going to skip in order to have to to play the Wii? It almost makes you hope there's Wii shortages.

There probably will be Wii shortages, huh?

Possibly although if they release in October I don't think it will be too hard to find up until around the end of november. But heck yeah going to be giving my ds all sorts of loving before the year ends and possibly the ps2 in sept come Okami. If the Wii is in fact hard to come by then I shall have to buy the GC version of ZTP and then just pick up the Wii version somewhere down the road to get my fishing on, as that is the only aspect I see as me actually enjoying more using the Wiimote for the rest I think i would rather use a more traditional method of input.

I'll probably stick with my 360, with an outside chance of getting a Wii somewhere down the road.

Fishing? That's cool. But what about the bow and arrow? You wouldn't rather aim (as opposed to thumbstick controlled targetting reticule) and then hear the arrow leave your hand via the conrollers built in speaker and then "travel" to the screen where it pierces your enemies heart?

Wii for sure at this point. I'm starting to lean heavily in favor of a 360 over the PS3, though.

Between the Wii and the DS, I'm not sure if I'll need another console. I don't have enough time to finish all my DS games as it is, these days.

I voted 360 + PS3.

I'm not sure if it will be this time next year, but I certainly see myself with a PS3 at some point. There are already a few games that interest me, including Assassin's Creed, MGS4 (just beat MGS3:S), Heavenly Sword, and Mercenaries 2. There will be a GoW 3 for the system, and hopefully DMC4 will feel next-gen.The price point is the only negative for me at this point.

The Wii is too much of a question mark for me to consider at this point.

So far 16 of 20 polled have indicated a Wii purchase. I don't know how representative we are of gamers in general, but we seem a pretty average group of relatively hardcore game addicts (we're mostly Canadian, American, and other western countries here, aren't we. . .save our PC afficionado from the Phillipines?.)

And with something like 80% of Japanese Famitsu readers placing the Wii as their most wanted console, the thing really is going to be a hit.

Hope it's not a fizz-out hit and that game developers get their asses to work for the system, and that gamers buy all good games for the system, not just the Nintendo titles.

It's all three for me, and not because I'm "hardcore", but because there is something that each system will be offering that the others can't, and that is simply, exclusive titles.

PS2- Ico
SotC
God of War
Devil May Cry series
Snake Eater
Gradius
Ratchet
Jak

GCN-
Nintendo-made games
Chaos Field
Eternal Darkness
Ikaruga
Baiten Kaitos(sp?)

XBOX-
Ninja Gaiden
Panzer Dragood Orta
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
Halo
Otogi series
Shenmue series
Bioware games

Plus more for each series like exclusive racers, shooters, and RPG's.

Come on, guys! You all know that each system whipped out excellent games. What made you all think that only the Wii will be able to deliver? Or that it'll have the only games worth playing next gen?

Wii and PS3 for me, as if its going to be any other combo. The 360 is looking very attractive but there just isn't enough time to play with 3 consoles on top of my GBA, DS, and PC habits. Heck, there isn't enough time to play all my games now. I'm becoming more of a game collector instead of a gamer. Sad really. :(

Did anyone just own a PS2 this past generation? I'm thinking everyone had at least two, so that's probably made everyone be more content to owning two or more systems. He or she who doesn't(didn't) have multiples will be and has been missing out on at least twenty AAA games per system they missed.

NOTE- 9 or the votes indicate that they will be getting a PS3 along with another system.

I voted Wii-only, despite having owned every system and handheld this generation. I know eventually I will likely buy a Ps3 or 360 (hopefully not both) but neither has won me over yet, and the poll was limited to which ones we'll own by "this time next year." The Wii is the only one I'm certain to own by this time next year, though one of the others is possible (still leaning 360.)

Owning all three consoles this gen, I STILL have missed TONS of AAA games, not to mention boatloads of worthy little gems that score more in the 70-80 range. There's just not time, even when I took a few months off last year to just enjoy life, I still wasn't able to play every good game that appealed to me. I think I may have actually been enjoying gaming more when the GC was the only console I had than when I was trying to keep up with the best releases on three different consoles.

I feel okay voting Wii-only because the price is so low and so many launch-window games appeal to me that it'll easily keep me busy for the first year (supplemented of course by my handheld addiction). And, it's providing a really new game experience. It's the ideal system to pick up first while the other two duke it out, try to score third party exclusives, get in price wars, or whatever. By the time the newness of the Wii wears off, the Ps3 and 360 will have numerous players choice titles, system price drops and the dust will have cleared a bit for me on which one is going to have more games I want to play.

360 early adopters will have the same advantage and incentives to hold off on Ps3--especially if they are Live users, and considering the two systems provide so much library overlap. And the 360 early release--as much as I mocked it--looks like nothing but an advantage now in terms of making it the first-choice console to supplement the Wii. There's already a couple titles I want with more on the way, and the 360 has worked out it's launch bugs now and will have a price drop this fall just in time for the PS3 launch.

By the time Ps3 builds its library and is a reasonable price for a plug-into-your-tv game toy (which is what these things are to me). . .that'll be when, 2008? 2009? Cheers to the early Ps3 adopters, but $600 is too much of a gamble based on the launch titles and Sony's history of buggy fragile hardware.

Wii60 right now.

As it stands PS3 doesn't have the list of upcoming titles 360s has. Moreover, Sony hasn't done ANYTHING to shown why PS3 should command a price that's $200 over the competition. Sure, the system might have the potential for graphics above and beyond 360, but why spend the green unless you're playing games that actually deliver on that promise? Why not wait until something comes out and actually proves PS3 is on another level?

Wii will be inexpensive. Wii will also play GC games and a ton of retro titles. The titles will also be cheaper. It's a safe bet to get some great and quirky games. I don't know if I would rely on it as my #1 system just yet, but it will most likely be worth the money.

I don't count PS3 out though, if only because so much of the Japanese development community is so wedged up Sony's derriere, they are bound to wind up with some titles to salivate over. But really...good luck getting me to spend six franklins on it...

Wii60... I've already got the 360... and for me Wii is a foregone conclusion with the innovation in control tied with the franchises I've grown up with.

Although of late I have spent more time on my PS2 than anything else [rightly reflected in my rather paultry GamerScore] I simply can't see myself laying down Sony's asking price for the PS3... there are enough solid franchises on Nintendo and Microsoft's machines. Plus, I am rather taken by MS's solid on-line infrastructure in Live.

But then again I usually take a stance such as this and then fold when the shiny new gear hits the street. I guess time will tell...

If I had to make a choice between the Wii & the PS3 no doubt the PS3 would the right choice.(If you have a GC or a N64 why bother with the Wii IMO?) With the 360 being right behind it.

Wii and PS3, but not sure if it'll be by next year; I will wait a bit for price to go down, and for the mod chips to get a rumbling.
