I just noticed this post.
I also didn't notice that I made the upgrade. I went to check my version after reading your post and was surprised to see that I was already running the new one.
Then I kind of remembered something about an update...(?)
Then remembered it occurring on or around the first of the month.
Now, it dawns on me... that maybe the new version of the browser is what's causing my problems. Which started around the first of the month.
Anybody else experiencing any peculiarities with their new Firefox browser?
Not really...
What kind of problems are you talking about?

No peculiarities on my end. Are there any other better browsers? I like Firefox better than IE, but I can't get over what a resource hog it is.
There's Opera, I suppose, but I've never used it.

Yeah, see, they already did another update... now on version 1.5.0.4.
I couldn't cite for you specific examples of problems I was having, because I never knew exactly if it was the browser, or the site, or my computer... or just me - but generally speaking I thought it was acting kind of... unstable-y (sorry, it's still early for me).

Wow, there is definitely something wrong my Firefox browser. Even with the newest upgrade.
I haven't logged on to these forums in days... because I keep getting a message that says the site is down, "we're upgrading". I wouldn't even have known better if I didn't ask Jaa when we were playing GRAW. But even after he just checked it and told me that the site is up, I tried it and still got that message.
But when I tried it with Internet Explorer...

And now it works.
Man, I just don't get it.
Have you got IEview or IEtab extensions? I'd recommend trying them, particularly IEtab. Then, if you have trouble viewing a site with Firefox, just one click will take the tab you're viewing and render it under IE. So you'll be able to see if it's a Firefox issue with minimum hassle.

Up until now I've never even heard of such things. But, per your advice, I grabbed IEtab. I can't find IEview. We'll see how that works. Regardless, thanks.
No problem.
IE View: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/35/
IE View Lite: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1429/
These extensions add a right-click context sensitive item to view a page in IE which loads up the current page in the IE browser. You can set it so that a certain page will always load up with IE (same as IE Tab). I've found that IE View is necessary only for Windows Update, for anything else that doesn't seem to work with Firefox (particularly ytmnd sites) I just use IE Tab.
