OKay okay, everyone has their favorite trailers: FF, MG4, Halo 3, which are all good, but seriously, but one thing i dont see ANYONE in the form talking about is RED STEEL TRAILER. Yes trailer, everyone is speaking about what they saw on the Nintendo Conference, but no one has mentioned the trailer.
HAve u SEEN the trailer?

I swear this guy reminds me of Mr. Bean and is he sweating with all that hot action?

I really hope RS turns out to be incredible, I fear it might end up like Giest though, tons of potential...no polish!
Nintendo really need something truly amazing with the next gen games in order to overshadow the offerings of the other two. I would like to see them #1 again!!
I belive Mario Galaxy, Zelda TP, Metroid will pwn and hopefully Red Steel truly deliver. This just needs to happen!

The Red Steel trailer was sweet. I want that game! The graphics were nothing special, but I like the way the controller works with it. And this is just the first wave of Wii games! (I hope the Wii FPS genre doesn't get stagnant though with every game having a sword and gun schtick going on, but oh I can see it happening)
The game also seems to have some kind of slow-mo aim bot function (probably a limited use ability) for those tough spots. Looks nice, and a welcome change from the slew of bullet-time clones out on the market.
The sword fighting portion had me thinking; when in sword fight mode does the controller's location movement also move your position in the game? Hence when you move forward to stalk the enemy, does your character also move forward without use of the nunchuk's stick? Or does this also work in gun mode?

As cool as that may sound, i seriously doubt thats the case. It requires the D-pad to move.

We will find out today then won't we. I hope Zilla spends more time on the Wii booths to get his impressions on these games that Nintendo will be demoing. If the games are going to be as immersive as what was shown in the Red Steel trailer then the WiiMote should be a success. I still remember this past holiday season when motion activated games at the malls were flying like hotcakes. I can' believe it! I actually bought the PingPong game. The graphics were 16 bit but the gameplay was excellent. But I can actually put spins, speed, off-speed, counter-spins, etc on the ball. And I still play it to this day!

Time will tell Mandark....time will tell! My concern is simply that most launch games, even with all the buzz surrounding it, they can still end up lackluster. I want RS to be amazing but I am keeping my hopes on the D/L and hope to be amazed upon release!
