Me!
MGS3 was a great game that was almost totally ruined by it's funky ass camera scheme. With a new over the shoulder perspective, it should not only be more tolerable, but also a helluva lot more fun.
Plus the online modes and added MSX versions of Metal Gear 1 & 2 look awesome.

I've had it pre-ordered for a billion years, and will be getting it here in the next day or so. I'm not sure that if I want to get me the network adapter for online, since I'm getting my online fix with Burnout Revenge and DOA4 and soon FNR3(after I beat the single-player and unlock some achievements).
I think it'll be cool to have the DVD that has all the cut-scenes, but IGN made it seem like it was kind of screwed up, so I just might use the theater mode in the regular game if I want to see some cut-scenes(I can watch Boss shred Jack over and over again).
Will they be including the original camera view along with the new one? Now the MGS haters(SC fanboys) have no excuse not to play this game(it seemed the majority of them refused it because of the camera).
Mmmmm, now I'll have every MGS re-make, each being on a different system.
MGS Twin Snakes- GCN
MGS Sons of Liberty- XBOX
MGS Snake Eater- PS2

I agree. I believe I was halfway through MGS3 when I finally couldn't take that camera anymore. Too bad, because I thought the rest of the game was really good.

Yeah. From what I read, it's as simple as hitting the R3 button. I kind of hope there's a way to disable the original camera, because I don't want to accidentally hit R3 and make it come up.
There's supposed to be some type of free DVD with a pre-order with the game (I've been told to ask for it in case they don't remember). I think it's about the entire MG series, and should be completely different from the DVD with the Limited Edition.

I think it's just a Making Of DVD. Nothing too thrilling, but it'd make for a nice collectors item.

Metal Gear Saga Vol 1. That's what I was given. From the insides, it looks like they have all the MGs in order, starting with MGS3 and ending with MGS2. It does indeed look like a nice collector's item.

I was wondering what that was. I thought that it was the DVD that had all the cut-scenes. I didn't get that one, even though it's what I wanted. :( I would've rather had the cut-scene DVD than the Metal Gear Saga.
And I couldn't find Theater Mode on the regular game. Is it not even there?

I dunno. I think I would rather have this Saga DVD instead. I couldn't get past Snake's first conversation with The Boss before falling asleep, so I know watching a DVD full of cut-scenes wouldn't agree with me.
About the Theater mode...I'm not sure if it has to be unlocked or is on the 2nd disc (Persistence).
