It doesn't sound like its online only. Front Mission always had a nice, if not a bit weird story.

Square Enix has officially announced Front Mission 4 for PlayStation 2, the 4th installment of the popular "dramatic simulation RPG". The story of FM4 will take place 6 years after Front Mission 1st, which is the time between FM1 and FM2. There are two main characters in the game: Elsa and Darril.

Elsa is a French Wanzer army officer, a member of the Elite team ; and Darril is a 32 year old mercenary, an optimistic person, he was demoted from his position after an argument with his head. In the game you will play the missions from the perspective of the two characters.

Front Mission 4 is scheduled for a winter 2003 release in Japan.

That's from magic box.

You better join the OCU forces, or else!

actually... I read 2 different stories on magicbox. One was FM4 the other was FM Online. They seem to be 2 different games.

Hmmm...curious. I wouldn't mind having a seperate game. I'm not the biggest fan of online play, simply because I can't stand cheaters. If there was a seperate FM4, I would be thrilled.

The storyline sounds similar to the one in FM3, where you played the story from two different points of view.

Man, I put over 100 hours into FM3..., this past spring! That game is STILL so hot.
