For whatever reason, I never was big on the PSX scene. I had the system, but N'64 and Dreamcast seemed to sap most of my gaming time.
Ended up selling the system for a PS2, but thanks to the insane deals you can get on PSX games on ebay, I've been looking at adding older titles to my collection. I recently acquired a copy of Vagrant Story, and have been looking at getting a copy of Symphony of the Night(after playing the sublime Aria of Sorrow on GBA.)
Obviously the early Tekkens, Twisted Metals and Tony Hawks were good back in the day, but with newer, better sequels availiable on next-gen systems, are they really worth getting? This got me thinking-What PSX games do you think are the "classics"? , the ones that still hold up in this age of Next-Gen consoles? For the gamers that have access to an XBox, GC, PS2 etc, what PSX games are still worth picking up?
Thoughts?
