Falcon 4.0 Allied Force

Me and DBS played some dogfights and tried a campaign mission.On lowest settings the game is very managable to learn and we had alot of fun blowing eachother out of the sky lol.Even had a dogfight using night vision itt was a rush.Anyone whos interested in some f-16 action go get this game and join us online!!Almost forgot online play is very smooth and DBS had no problems connecting to me and had no lag whatsoever

Man it was fun but i bet it gets better when we figure out what the hell were doing lol.

There is a ton of learning with this game/sim but damn it will be a blast as we slowly learn more and more.

Yes sir you can.Me and DBS played a co-oop mission along with thousands of AI.This game is massive in scope not only do you get the most realistic flight sim ever made its also part strategy game.You can also command your ground troops if you choose to although i havent figured out how to do this yet.Now granted if ya get the game the first thing you want to do is download hitiles it makes the terrain look much better but its $12,but anyone willing to get the game ill send the hitiles to your email for free.I bought it but burned the files to a cd so anyone who gets the game and wants to join us ill send the hitiles to you.It has a winter,fall,summer and spring textures.The cool thing about this game is the developers fully support there customers and when they patch the game they also make enhancements as they go along.Its rare to see the actual development team answer questions on a forum.there are some weak points to me but very few.They need to make the air to ground explosions better period.Also its hard to know when you damage an enemy intallation.But the air to air effects are passable although not the best out there.With the Hitiles installed the terrain is about as good as it gets.There might be a few better maybe lockon is better,but lockon is more an arcade flyer then a sim.Another thing all you get to fly are 4 varient of the F-16 but trust me ones enough with the learning curve in this game.So ya FB join us man you will have a blast.Even know me and DBS pretty much suck and havent a clue what were doing yet its still a blast and were learning as we go.Just make sure if you get it dont get The plain falcon 4.0 make sure it says allied force on the box to.Plain 4.0 is an old game.Each mission ya do your just a small parrt of the cause.You will see hundreds of dogfights with friendly and enemy aricraft on your way to your particular destination.Also you will see allied and enemy ground troops duking it out as you fly overhead.You have your own objective and the AI has theres.Its like one big war going on and you can see it all unfold as you go.Like i said the developers are making improvements all the time and i bet in another years time the game will feel totally different then when i first bought it and not in a bad way.Everybody i talk to says this is the best Air sim ever made now i cant really comment on that because this is the first real sim ive tried of the sort.Only thing closest to that was microsoft flight sim 2002 and 04.DBS can give you his take on it as well but i know hes getting addicted like i am.starting off on arcade type mode and working are way up in realism slowly but will get it eventually.

By far it is the most complex game I have yet to purchase. I mean complex not complicated but it does need required time invested in it before you see what it has to offer. There just is so much to it and anyone interested in really learning something about flying should invest in this game. Amazon had it for $19.95 and it was the best money I have spent I think. It will take a longtime to get it all down and longer to master but I think it may be the game I will have on my hard drive years from now if we can stay interested.
I only wish they had a manual you could buy seperately instead of the pdf file.....which is over 700 pages long.

I have landed a few times without ending up in flames and that was a good first step. I have to get some more of the radar modes down though but each day I learn something. It is how to play it...just try to take your time and not get frustrated with the scope of the thing.
