Ive been noticing a disturbing trend as far as buying PC games from retailers. My question is where the hell did all the PC games go??I went to Gamestop and EB games and the limited choices they had were pathetic and thats being nice. Its sad to think the console gaming could very well put an end to PC gaming. Now with the XBOX 360 out there making room for that and taking away all my PC games!!!.I use to beable to get any game i wanted at anytime now its looking more and more like the only way to get anything is to order online.Only problem is i do not have a credit card nor plan to ever have one.To be blunt this pisses me off to no end.Does anyone have some insight to whether this trend will eventually end??Or could we be seeing the end of PC gaming??I did hear a while back that more and more developers were going console as there suppose to be easier to program for. This worries me because if i have to go to console About the only thing i play on those are RPG games as FPS games are way to awkward to play with a stupid control pad.

There is a trend when new console hardware comes out to focus on it for a while. Pc Gaming is not going down but for now the focus is on the new hardware coming from Microsoft, Sony and the big N. Devs are pushed in that direction but there are still some dedicated pc devs out there that know the scaleability and power that the pc unleashes is unmatched. There are new multicore processors coming soon from both Intel and AMD that are gonna blow past the power of the Xbox 360 etc and new graphic hardware that is far superior on the way as well.

As far as retail space ...be patient. For now the console bandwagon is going strong. It is an endless cycle of ups and down for each.....

Have you considered signing up for Paypal? You can purchase using this without a cc and it is deducted from a band account of your choosing. Gogamer uses paypal. Also at Amazon you can sign up for a credit line for your games without a cc. It just comes to how comfortable you are with this way of doing business. I use it carefully but have had no trouble with these meathods in many years of using them.
