I purchased my copy on november 29th. I got to play it on christmas day and it gave my disc read errors quite frequently. So I replaced it with another one just the other day and it does the same thing over and over. I also have PD:0 and it runs perfectly, I can play for hours with no problem.

I've been reading all over the net, forums and stuff like that, and some people are having the same problem. But MOST people are having just random freezes and crashes, that screen of death with the red ring of light or whatever, and some of them just have 360's that crash right off the dot. Right now mine runs perfectly, except for this PGR3 problem, it'll run fine all the way through the game, and sometimes I could just be sitting at the menu of the game, and the disc read error will pop up again.... it's weird. I guess it COULD be a hardware problem, but the symptons lead me to believe that it is defective software. And where I bought it, EB games told me that they have had no reports of defective 360's. Anyone having similar problems?

I've been on the official 360 boards alot lately trying to read how people are liking/disliking the 360 and to stay abreast of problems like this.

Unfortunately I have heard nothing about defective PGR3 discs.

Have you called MS to see if they had any indication of what might be causing the problem? 1-800-4MY-XBOX is the number you should call. I hate to steer you that direction since wait times are sometimes unbearable, but MS has great customer service IMO and they should be able to help.

Keep us posted with whatever you learn.

lol, sorry about that last post, I must've been drunk or something.

Anyway, I brought back PGR3 AGAIN, and tried it, dissapointing results is all I can say. I called up 1-800-4myxbox and I'm getting a box shipped to me, they said since I'm in Canada its a direct exchange, so in 5-10 business days I'll have my new 360..
