I tried several games tonight on Wolfenstein and got banned from several of them. I wasn't being crude. I wasn't using a Panzer. I wasn't shooting my own teamates. The room wasn't full and they didn't need more spots. I made sure to join the team to even things out. Noone said anything to me, and them I'm banned from their games about 5 minutes after joining.

Did I accidently join a special or clan game, or are there just a lot of *******s on Wolfenstein on Saturdays?

What does "idle in spec too long" mean?

First off, if you're still relatively a newbie, there are a LOT of impatient gamers in RTCW who host, especially if you start beating them...but here's the deal...I only really play the Beach Invasion map usually and if you want good servers with NO lag that are always full, check out "KLR", "ToddM", "Marty ID", and "Brock Vond". Also, if you get banned, all you have to do is sign out of LIVE(or reboot your Xbox cause I know about the black screen of death), sign back in, change your handle(done under options/online options/save settings). "MOD187" is a good Xbox LIVE host for RTCW as well even though it's technically not dedicated, the host never plays and remains in spectator every time I play.

Yes, there are plenty of underage children hosting games who think they can order you around and if you don't do everything they say they ban you...the easiest solution to this is to just go to dedicated servers but I always get lucky and end up on the other team kicking the hosts ass so in that case they tend to just shut down the match.

Idle in spec too long means that you stay spectator for extended amounts of time. Usually if I connect to a server and play for an hour, I'll go to spectator for up to 10 mins to go step outside but only after I have played for a while. When I connect to a game, I quickly analyze which team has the least players and join it because there's nothing more frustrating than having unbalanced teams because some jackasses are chatting in spec filling up all the slots.

I know RTCW isn't the easiest game to adapt to. Hell, even I don't know 5 or 6 of the maps as well as I should but if I'm gonna stay as entertained with Beach Invasion as I have been, I don't see a problem with only playing there.
