Hey guys i didnt think you would have to download the realism mod i thought it was serverside but DBS had to to get in its only 2 mb tho and i want to keep using it as it adds alot to the game here it is but you have to register its easy.Its the 7th mod down on this page its realism mod final its the only one that says final http://www.rvsgaming.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=10#cat
And mochan i dont see a way around getting in the game it makes u put in cd key:(

Hahha ah well I'll see you guys in Swat 4 then! Maybe you guys might want to try out Sniper ELite too. That game plays perfectly online without any checks.

Putting another gameup tonite between 5-6 pm hopefully DBS can join,coulda used you last night.Atleast lastnight i felt like we had our chances to beat missions.Think were getting better as a team.Plus DBS we have teamspeak now.Me,aku and paine were on it seems to work great for games.

Better to play turn-based games under those conditions, lol. Only your gf managed to redeem us a couple of times by keeping missions alive. Hope I'm well enough to play tonight, I want to play this with a clear head and the ability to concentrate.

Ya but we would have actually have won a mission or two if they hadnt put more terorist in then what i put in options.I thought for being crippled lastnight we didnt do to bad lol.Cool DBS ill be starting game up at 5 and have Teamspeak runing by then. you guys just showup when ya can ill have mass maps running tonite and will do like lastnight and have 5 turns a round .we will get to know the maps better like aku mentioned lastnight.By the way DBS the Teamspeak server is the same IP number as the game server and also same password to.If ya have problems getting in let me know ill help ya out.
Should be no issues...I have used TS with Moya before..
Only issue with Teamspeak is that it can be picky with firewalls. At least it was with mine (Zonealarm). Don't know how it'd be with routers.

DBS sorry had to take off it was sort of sudden for me.Anyways me and paine finally made it through a save 2 hostages mission.Got a new strategy that seems to work great.Nomore opening the door slowly seems if you hit space open the door up suddenly and have the other person crouch right inline with the door and flatout take out anything that comes into view it works better.seems if you open the door slowley gives the terrorist more time to react and 8 out of 10 times there already pointing at you by the time you see them.Plus me and her just about got through that congo mission with the tents outside and the basement we kept having troble with.Well first thing we did is went all around the perimeter took everything out outside then instead of going through the basement we went through the back and went down to basement from there it was much easier and the terrorizst were pointing the other way so they were easy kills.I think this game rely's on which path you take more then anything.DBS also you want to check make sure you dont have a firewall running is why we were having a hard time on teamspeak lastnight.I almost wanted to shut it off i would hear paines echo sometimes 8 times in a row.Hopefully we can get that cleared up but if you got your firewall running that might be the problem as TS seems to have issues with it sometimes.
ok..I did have my fw up. I just realized when I used it in Swat 4 I didn't use a firewall but that was for the trouble I had connecting up in S4.

Okay, I managed to snag a copy of Ravenshield + Athena Sword for $35! Not the best deal but I'm amazed I was able to find a copy. We can play whenever you guys are ready, I just need to install it and stuff.
Of course I'm also ready for SWAT4.

This is a freaking joke!!! The Athena Sword installer tells me that "The Install Program was not designed for my language" and aborts the install! What an F'ing Heaping Pile of Idiotic ****. *THIS* is why I like pirating my games! They *always* work! These official releases are stinking piles of crud.
Anyway I'm gonna try fixing my language options and hope I can get it to work. I think I'll also hit the Ubi forums to see if anyone has the same problem and/or a work around.

Not to be nosey but does your desktop display everything in your countries language??Im lost here alittle.Are they trying to say if you change your windows language to english it will work??I neer heard of this before if thats what your talking about.

To fix you have to rename a directory in the game from "UK" to "US" then install. It was really f'ed up. I don't know whether it worked completely, though; I couldn't install the patch on the Athena disk so I had to manually install a downloaded one and it *seemed* to work, problem is I have no idea how to activate Athena Sword. I play it but it doesn't seem to come up. That left a bad taste in my mouth.
Anyway are we up for some SWAT action? I installed the map packs.

Yeah I'll be there, I solved nearly all my RVS problems now. I only have two real problems left. The first is MB4 and MB5 support. It sucks that this game doesn't have any. I've gotten so used to putting fire rate change to MB4 and this game needs to change firing rate a lot.
The other issue is that I noticed on my new PC the game doesn't playback the video clips. On my old PC with the Radeon, it does.
I visited the Ubisoft boards and there was a thread on this topic:

Apparently patch 1.4 and up with NVidia has some issues on video clip playback. Any of you guys with Nvidia cards getting the same issue? More importantly, anyone with a fix? It is annoying.
Durn it but while I liked Ravenshield way back, this game has so many problems since I purchased it that it's unbelievable.

I played some multiplayer with some Japanese dudes yesterday and it was fun! Four of us on the maps and we were mowing through them though I admit I usually got killed halfway through the maps.

I havent had the problems you have had mochan hmm.I have Nvidia as you know and have no problems of any sort.Ok theres a few things you have to download to join the first is make sure your patched to 1.60 or higher.Next is this Mappack which we use which can be found here http://files.vgpro.com/file/21

Ya RS is easy to setup dunno why you have problems with swat 4.I DMZ every time i host any game as every game has different ports to forward and i host like 3-4 different games at times ,so its just to much of a headache to do port forwarding.By the way the Iron Wrath mod is here but i wouldnt even download yet till others agree to it,unless you want to try the new singleplayer campaigns.I would like to give it a go but ill wait till Aku and Mochan decide whether or not they want to try it out.But heres the link to it anyhow http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/ironwrath/

Hey were getting better finally got through 2 missions lastnight and came close a few other times.I would like to try the iron wrath mod out tonite it adds more maps and also more guns as well,not to mention we can still play the maps we usually play.If knwone finds the time to download it let me know ill host regular RS tonite.Heres link if anyone wants to give it a go.It is a very quick Download for a gig file. one last thing if downloading Iron Wrath make sure you look closely for your cd key it issues you.I believe you will see it on the same page where you actually start the download.

I had an awesome time last night :) i had lots of fun, I sure hope people will join tonight(hint hint aku and dbs) and hopefully we can get a few more to join in .
Anyone have an interest in Battlefront 2? It has gotten some good reviews but not sure if it is our cup of tea or not. I picked up Star Wars Battlefront 2 for xmas if anyone else has that sometime we could try it out. For now RS is a ton of fun co op as is S4.
We need a few more player though.....Moya has S4 so maybe if we can get him to join us we should do that. If not I am fine with RS...it was tons of fun !!!
I could not get the Iron Wrath exp yet. I will fit with fileplanet more in a bit. I am up for either but to be honest...after last night I am really enjoying RS @!!!

K RS it is!!Mochan no problem we can play RS till everyone can get ironwrath no biggy.Ill host 6 pm again tonite.BTW DBS i looked at BF 2 might pick it up soon have to make sure its something fun before i get it.We could always play some UT 2004 as well to mix it up a bit to.WHatever you guys wanna play im up for it as long as i got it lol.
