GameStop, EB Games, GameRush, GameCrazy, Toys R Us, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Sears, Target, KMart, Meijer...

The 4 specialty retailers (GameStop, EB Games, GameRush, and GameCrazy) are all on a pre-order only basis. I think they're all going to be open at 12:01am too. I know GameStop is anyway. I think GS also has pretty strict sytem in place for picking up those pre-orders - which, I think, is cool - even if I'm not one one them. Don't know about the other three tho'.

Meijer is a 24-hour store in the first place, so starting at 12:01am the system will be available for purchase. A disclaimer on their current flyer reads: "While 1,800 last chainwide. No rainchecks. Limit 1 per customer."

Target is opening their doors 2-hours early - at 8am. ("Limit 1... no rainchecks... quantities limited.")

Best Buy is opening 1-hour earlier - at 9am. (Limit 1... no rainchecks... no dealers... Minimum 20 per store.")

Circuit City, CompUSA, Sears, and KMart are business-as-usual.

Don't know about Toys-R-Us.

I'm looking to walk into Wal-Mart either midnight if they're going to be open or on the next day as soon as they open. They're not a 24-hour Wal-mart, but someone on here said that the Wal-Marts in his area were going to be open, so maybe here also. I'll probably call them tomorrow. They also have a sign saying one per customer.

Don't forget that stores like CompUSA and Micro Center are ALSO getting 360's. If I were trying to walk in and buy a 360 on launch day, I'd go to those places first.

Edit: You mentioned CompUSA already, I see. :p

I just talked to my Wal-Mart person and they said that they only have 8(!!!!) 360's for tomorrow. The Wal-Mart in Los Lunas and Belen only get 10 each. Hard times around here for a while methinks.
