...In order for me to play the newer PSP games like GTA and the eventually kill controller destroyer G&G, I would have to upgrade my PSP to 2.0 or whatever it is, and if I did that, it would disable my ability to play my Brew? That really sucks if that's the case. Right now, I don't have enough games on the PSP that I want to get that would make me want to do the upgrade, but what about when all the killers start coming in?

I'm assuming that you have to save the upgrade to your memory stick, so can I just do the upgrade on one and then have me emus and such on another stick?

And a question about my emu... is there a different emu for the Genesis than DGen? That one only seems to run old Genesis games well, but stuff like Pulseman, SoR2, and Castlevania run like ass. Games like The Immortal, Spiderman vs Kingpin and Out of This World work fine, though.

The upgrade is not to the memory stick; when I downloaded the upgrade it put it on the memory stick, but it installed to the system and then let you delete it from the memory stick.

Use PSP Genesis!!! I find that works better.

And no, if you upgrade you are stuck with 2.0 and no homebrew until it is 100% hacked. The reason (From What I hear) is 2.0 goes directly to the Bios! I have heard ways of downgrading but it is risky from the sounds of it!

I think Sony is doing themselves more harm than good with this Firmware garbage. I don't have the ambition to update....I love my homebrew more than PSP software...for now!!!!
