The Xbox360 Dev kits are From Apple (They are G5s)...Apple and MS aren't on good terms

Toshiba is against Sony on the HD-DVD/BLU-RAY thing, but Toshiba and Sony and with IBM on the system itself.

ATI is making the 360 GPU (Xenos is it?), but they are supporting BLU-RAY.

And most of all...who will benefit most from this gen?

Not Sony, not ATI, not Nvidia, Not Microsoft, Not Ninty, but IBM. They are making ALL the systems CPUs...

Yeah, IBM somehow got the contract for all the CPUs!!! I find this very weird, not to mention dumb. But that's only because I am a solid Athlon fan. :)

It's odd I read in an article that the next chip for apple would be made by intel for what would be the G6 but now everybody is back to using IBM...

Yeah I thought Apple was shifting to Intel as well (speculation is that they are trying to beat Windows with MacOS and to do so they want MacOS to be compatible with PCs).

Yes, but now apple has to write their OS to work with a large amount of hardware, which is something they havn't really had to do in the past since Mac basically had a Mac motherboard and processor... Get ready for Mac Os to be less stable than windows when they switch over. Actually Win XP works just fine for me.

I just hope we get Windoes or an operating system that uses less resources and is more optimized for games. I swear, sometimes I feel Windows takes more resources than the games I play to run.

Yea, those links are both me. Alien notation is what lead to Strike the Assassins... Basically I found a singer to sing on my tunes. I sing too, but I'm trying to get signed and have a full band, so I'd rather play guitar in a live setup.

I havn't really been to anything big in a long time... I hope to play some big venues someday though, hopefully the Strike the Assassins project is something in the right direction. I really enjoy mixing and producing too, I write, record, and mix all my stuff on this here win XP computer...

I have been working on 2 (Underground) projects myself this year. I released a CD 2 years ago this month containing some songs that I created using both Fruity Loops, Cool Edit 2000 and Sound Forge. The Music is mostly Techno/Industrial...I have enjoyed the heavier side of music all my life and the final song on that CD, I pretty much grabbed the Intro riff to Metallica's "Through the Never" messed around with it and added some break beats, bass as well as some cool sound effects into the mix. Some friends said it sounds like Front Line Assembly!?!

The Next 2 projects I am attempting, I am going alot heavier this time I have a guitar now and I create my own riffs to add to the beats. Turning out decent so far.

I like the sound of "Exponential Climb". What is the name of your Band? How can I obtain some of those songs!
