Disintegration

Ok, so about a month or so ago I got my DS and I've enjoyed it so far although all I've had is Super Mario 64 DS and some old GBA games to keep me entertained because I never found time to get new games, but I just ordered KCC and Warioware Touched so I think I'll be even more pleased...
However, I sort of have a problem/dilemma concerning my the color of my DS.
Ok, call me shallow or just picky, but I really wish I would have gotten the Silver/Titanium DS instead of the Electric Blue one. When I got the special where you got all the free accesories and free game I didn't realize that you had to get the Blue DS. I always sort of wished that I got the Silver one, but really now theres nothing I can do, I can't return it because its been too long and so on and so forth.
So a week ago I guess I had the idea to search for Nintendo DS skins on the internet, and I was succesful. Some of them looked extremely cool (the plainer colors and retro ones, not the extravagent ones) and I was ready to jump on the fact that I could sort of do something about the color of my DS.
Yet another problem came along in which I realized the previews of the skins are only shown with the Silver DS, which might not really be a problem but I feel that some of the skins might not look as appealing to me on the blue one as the silver. I've been thinking about just getting the plain black one because I think it'd look good, but I'm really not sure
I know I make it sound like a huger deal than it really is but it just sort of sucks that the color is the only thing I really don't like about it and it feels like I could change it and could have prevented getting the blue one in the first place.
So have any of you run into this same sort of problem? Does Nintendo plan on releasing any official skins or anything? Have you bought any skins yourself, and what are your experiences with them? Is there anything else I can do to help my problem out (other than being less picky heh)?
