Damn, that looks pretty good. Is that supposed to be on the PS2? Exclusive or on the XBOX as well? And why does it remind me of Half-Life 2?
And it's about time someone started posting up pics again. I love pics.

This game will be out on Xbox and PS2, but when I first read the article last year about "Black" they were saying this was the game that developers are creating for PS2 that will be very similar to Half Life 2. They seem to be really tapping into PS2 for this one. Xbox will push this game with ease.
Here are some quotes from IGN (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/515/515421p1.html)
:
Introducing Black
Say hello to the PlayStation 2's "everything-killer."
For one, the finished version of Black will boast objects and environments that can be completely and totally destroyed with a mixture of real-time and scripted segments.
Moving outside brought even more amazing reactions as objects broke and fell relative to where they were shot. In one quick melee, for instance, we chased a pair of enemy soldiers with our machinegun as they ducked for cover behind the windows of a nearby building.
Ivan says:
This game is incredible. It effortlessly delivers that intangible feel first-person shooters need and has the whole process down to an art form. The guns are vicious, loud, mean, and rattle the screen perfectly. And when the dust settles, debris can still be heard crackling down to the dirt and the echos of shots long fired bouncing off the walls of shattered buildings. It just feels right. Respect the company that first works on "feel" and then worries about everything else later.

You'll never have it your...."PC", I told them to keep it on the consoles, just to annoy you! :p

The big question will be how it performs. The technology that drives FPS has always been an achilles heel for the PS2.
