I think that evry Forum is in need of at least one Thread where evryone's can FREELY, and I mean: ABSOLUTELY FREELY (!) express their impressions and opinons about the Forum itself.

The reason why I started this new thread:

Originally, I had a signature with two quotes of famous people - one was Nietzsche and the other ex-US-President Clinton, to whom I referred in a joke.

After one day, suddenly, the second phrase about Clinton was gone (It was: "I love ********. That's why I became president.").

I emailed Lara. the Admin, and asked to be told if I'm not allowed to keep my entire signature (the letter limit was kept), and if my signature had been cut on purpose. She answered that I should read the legal notice, and that this Forum is entitled to delete anything that might offend people.

I think this is a good example of how pretending the general Forum atmosphere is: Many others called me words like "sucker", "idiot", "stupid",
or offended me otherwise by telling me I would need psychiatric help.

In my opinion, naming somenone as crazy is EXACTLY the same offense as calling ANY nor so ugly swearword.

On top of this, my joke was NOT in the least offending, it was just Ms. Lara who didn't like me very much (like MANY; MANY others here and in TTLG), and so got aroused to check me and kick me anyhow possible.

Lara, I think you just thought I wrote too much and so concluded I would be a macho, making women-insulting jokes. You cannot by ANY means know wether that is true. But you act on your presumption, of course, on full legal basis. Really, "*******" is SUCH an ugly word and OFFENDS ANYONE. I think not.

I saw MANY; MANY other posts (where I didn't participate) where people really FIGHT and INSULT themselves. It's a SHAME!

It would help me a lot psychologically, if anyone who has had insulting dicussions here or elsewhere, if he would share his view with others, then we can talk about those events, and try to solve them fairly. And my moethod IS to lay GUILT on the GUILTY ones!!! I'm not the stupid normal psychiatrist saying: "Oh, no, we don't have to look who's guilty...", that's crap.
We HAVE to look who's guilty, otherwise, we cannot solve anything.

And who's guilty? Mostly, in the truth, the one who is the LOCAL HERO.
In school, the one who bet me up evryday and made fun of me was the most BELOVED one in my class, and all the best looking chicks would go with him, one after another. I didn't even dislike him, in the end, I helped him in german course.

I think, in evry situation, there can be THREE possible judgements:

Either, one OR the other is right, OR they BOTH committed MAJOR faults.

But evrywhere, it's things from our PERSONAL life that make us dislike another one - it has mostly nothing to do with PC-related issues.

Except, when normal and supergamers meet. I don't like SUPER ULTRA gaming experts, they just laugh at me, and I am strong in Doom3, Ford Racing and some other games, but for them, it's a RELIGION.

When I HARSHLY and inncoently criticised T2X at TTLG (where makers of this Thief-Game are!), I was finally banned out of no reason (it was not for calling another one the word M...F..., for that, I apologized and did it only, cuz another said it was MY fault not having found something in T2X MANY others didn't find either (entrance to the sewers in Level 8).

I think this place would be a good personal shout-out for all the less liked people here in Videogamers, but frankly, I doubt my chances to keep this thread against the very probable disdain of Lara and other admins.

Well, if they can't stand criticism, they shall shut the truth down. In real life, this would be a little harder to achieve, but the US-Government does so equally but with a much higher success rate...

You got your answer "privately" on pm. But you chose to make it public. Your signature was NOT acceptable, period. I am not going to argue. We have had a few people like you before who like to ramble on about nothing, and just can't stand the authority of an administrator or moderator. ...and you wonder why you were banned from another site? We don't ask anything of our members except to abide by our terms of use. You crossed the line and now you do this? I suggest if you don't like the rules here, leave.
