Trouble advancing:MW/Mages

Im currently stuck attempting to advance in Mages Guild. My current rank is level 6, Magician. None of the guild heads will offer me "duties" to advance. Whats more confusing is Skin-in-Tree [Sadrith Mora Guild] tells me "...see me for duties when you reach rank of Wizard..", but I have yet to achieve prior rank of Warlock. So it would seem I need to advance to Warlock, but no ones offering me any quest to achieve this. :confused:

To date, I have completed all the Balmora quest [Ajias & Ranis quest], all the Ald'ruhn quest [which Im told shouldnt be possible unless Im Warlock or higher?].
Also, I find it curious that Vivec & Caldera guilds offer no quests [asdie from crazy Trebonius Artorius "dissapearing elves" babble].

Ideas?

Check the UESP Morrowind walkthrough for Mages Guild quests. There's probably some quest giver you missed. Skink is involved in your final quest to become head of the guild.

Yeah, Ive scoured UESP Mage Guild walkthrough hoping to find a missed quest.

Aside from increase in disposition & a few nick-knack/artifacts, would I miss out on much by not finishing Mage Guild quests? I say this due to my experience of finishing Thieves guild quest & becomming Master; it just didnt seem to add that much to my character, just expanded gameplay a bit.

I came across this:
"Trebonius Artorius in the Vivec Guild Hall will only give the quest to you if you have reached the rank of Warlock and finished the main quest."

Could not advancing in the main quest be keeping all of the Mage Guild Stewards from giving me duties beyond magician status?

You miss nothing in not doing mage gulid quests, except for doing the quests themselves. This is one of the dumb things about Morrowind (and The Elder Scrolls in general). Well at least in Daggerfall you could get houses for certain guilds. But in Morrowind you can get any house you want without any penalty so....

You can build your levels up by mixing a lot of potions I made all lot of Restore health potions. I could use them and sell them.
