What online sources do you frequent & love to shop for tech, PC upgrades & peripherals?

Care to list any good/bad recent experiences that may help others shop online?

Im currently jumping through hoops on several online purchases. One of my use-to-be favorite sources Amazon has suprised me by making it a policy of selling products they dont stock.
Its taken 10 days on a photo scanner order from Amazon to admit they didnt have it in stock to begin with! After much wrangling via email, they finally conceded this point.
Another is a memory upgrade from Tigger that came to me as incorrect.
I'd like to ry Newegg, but am on the fence w/that source also due to recent rash of negative feedback. My current shopping list is a [1] LCD monitor [2] Photo scanner [3] ram [4] video card.

Suggestions?

I'm awaiting a vid card from newegg as we speak. 6600gt should be here on fri. so far I'm impressed with their service, but we'll see once i'm actually up and running with it.
also bought a comp from cyberpower in january. great specs for the price, but tech support is an absolute joke and there are some startup problems.

Newegg shipped my card to me really fast, and there prices were the lowest, so I'll keep using them in the future.

Tech support from computer sellers is always a joke (except maybe a big one like Dell, but maybe they suck too). I never expect to count on tech support when buying a new computer, just rely on my own sources for help (like people here!).

Yeah, I've never relied on tech support from vendors myself. The only tech support I get from them is to do my warranty.

Dell tech support is absolute ass. A friend of mine bought a comp from them recently and ended up having to have a few problems resolved that shipped along with the machine...turns out they didn't help a bit.

And I can't do anything for them because anything done to the computer tech wise that isn't done by a Dell employee voids their warrenty.

But to answer your question, I'd go with Newegg. They've always been really quick on the uptake and don't argue with you over broken components, plus they usually end up shipping your stuff out the very same day you order it.

Cyberpower is also good too if you're looking for a new comp. Like And_So said above, their tech support sucks, but their general customer service is good and they're usually pretty fast.

My order was placed, shipped & moved through through four states before sunset.

Yeah, looks great to me! I'd chomp up that monitor in your shoes. Like I said, you can do much better in the US. I think that's the same monitor that was on the flag day sale, I think. Only it was a bit cheaper back then by some dollars.
