Should I download Service Pack 2? [Archive]

I have heard some negative things about Service Pack 2 for XP, I am still running SP1, but should I upgrade or not?

I heard SP2 was the best SP to be on for XP. Personally though I'm still stuck on SP1.

Good Point!

The Reason I asked is because when I was downloading the latest ATI drivers, it said they strongly recommend SP2 be installed!

I'll just stick with SP1, been holding off for at least a year or two now!

I have not installed it. Mainly because I use a wireless network and heard SP2 has some issues with those. Besides...I do not need the better firewall from SP2 as I use another as well as the os one. I also have had no trouble so I just upgrade everything else and leave sp2 off it for now.

I also upgraded to the latest ati drivers with no hiccups.
