That was a lot of fun, despite some problems.
Main beef is that the vegetation didn't look convincing. But it was still nice jungle combat most of the time. The tunnel missions. THE TUNNEL MISSIONS. The first one wasn't so bad but the 2nd one was hell.
The dark maps were great but sometimes I'd go blind from all the muzzle fire and having to aim while seeing it. Performance was pretty crappy all things considered (for the graphics) but I attribute it to the enemy and team AI, which was relatively smart.
Hated how some guns had some freaking huge sights that gave me a headache, like the Winchester, which should have been my favorite gun. Zooming with the sniper rifles was a headache and I usually couldn't see what I zoomed in at in the first place after zooming. That you had to hold the aim button down all the time grated on my pinky.
Still I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which is more than I can say for a lot of other games, FPS or not. It's basically the game Ghost Recon should have been if it had a stronger single player story-driven component. All in all a great game.
Okay now for Fist Alpha.
